How often do we judge something or someone based on outside appearances only? I'm guilty of it. Hate to admit that, but it's true.

I agree completely! I hope the You Tube Video of her performance is being shown in classrooms all over the world today, in an attempt to promote discussion focusing on holding judgment of an individual based on their outward appearance. Ms. Boyle's performance was spectacular on so many different levels.
I've been viewing this video over and over for the past couple of days. A person would have to be made of stone not to have a tear in their eye and a sense of shame for pre-judging. Sure is a wake up call.
Alan -- I saw a headline on cnn.com yesterday about this and ignored it. For some reason I checked it out this morning and it got me. Tearing up like crazy.

Thanks for the video! Like David, I've watched it numerous times since it first appeared but this the most complete version I've seen. As well as her AMAZING performance, a nod to the judges who realized what they had done and admitted how dead wrong they were. Good luck to Ms. Boyle, she's got my vote!
